Во всяком случае, в Израиле оно впервые стало массовым :) А начало в совремённом мире, если верить английской Вики (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drip_irrigation), было положено в Афганистане в 1866 (оказывается, и Афганистан на что-нибудь полезен!)
